  • Each seat belongs to one named person, and sign in details are never shared.
  • DeedLens is not for consumer use, and accounts are not resold or passed to another business.

2Documents you upload

  • Upload only documents you have the right to process: with the authority of your client or the document's owner, and a lawful basis under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 for the personal data in them.
  • Do not upload documents obtained unlawfully, or material unrelated to property deals.
  • Do not upload documents made or altered to test how DeedLens responds.

3No probing

  • Do not test, probe or try to learn how DeedLens detects integrity signals or how its rules decide.
  • Do not scan, scrape, load test or reverse engineer the service, and do not try to get around rate limits, access controls or the separation between companies.
  • Do not try to reach another company's data.

4Using findings and reports

  • Do not present findings as a legal opinion, an official search or a confirmation of title.
  • Do not remove or change the fixed notice on a report.
  • Share reports only under your own name, after a lawyer has reviewed the findings.
  • Do not use findings to threaten, harass or defame anyone.

5No drafting

DeedLens does not draft deeds or other land instruments, and it may not be used to produce them. Only a legal practitioner prepares those.

6Security issues

If you find a security weakness, report it to DeedLens through chinaza@deedlens.online, and do not use it or share it.

7Enforcement

DeedLens may suspend access that breaches this policy, and may close accounts for serious or repeated breaches. Where the law requires it, DeedLens reports unlawful activity to the authorities.
